Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies: 2018 Fellowships

The Kyujanggak Institute for Korean Studies is pleased to announce an additional call for applications for its 2018 fellowships.

Please note that the deadline for applications is June 30 2018, for fellowships that should preferably start in September 2018.

The fellowships allow researchers in various stages of their careers to use the Kyujanggak collection as well as the resources at Seoul National University to carry out their research projects or prepare a manuscript for publication. The fellowships are open to all fields of Korean Studies. Two kinds of paid fellowships can be applied to:

– Fellowship (Korean Studies faculty, 6  months; monthly stipend of 3 mil. KRW)

– Junior Fellowship (PhD students, 6 months; monthly stipend of 1.5 mil. KRW)

In addition, applications will also be accepted for the following affiliation-only fellowships:

– Visiting student (no fixed term, max. 1 year)

– Visiting scholar (no fixed term, max. 1 year)
