Applications are invited for the part-time (0.5 FTE) post of Language Tutor in Korean, which is tenable from 03rd January 2022, or as soon as possible thereafter, and is offered on an open-ended basis.
In a full academic year, the appointed person will work on a 0.6 FTE basis from 1 September to 1 July, and will have no duties in July and August. Salary will be paid in equal instalments over 12 months.
You must possess near-native command of both Korean and English; demonstrate excellent language-teaching skills; and have an educational background appropriate to the delivery of the specified duties. Experience of teaching and assessing advanced Korean language skills at tertiary level, particularly in the UK, and a track record in curriculum development are highly desirable. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to empathise with students.
