The School of Literature and Languages is a vibrant and innovative School with an international research and teaching portfolio in English Literature and Creative Writing, Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting Studies, Modern Languages, Film and Intercultural Communication. The School also offers evening language classes for the general public and an institution-wide language programme for University students.

We are seeking to appoint a part-time Associate Tutor to teach two year-long Korean Language modules (beginners A1 and post-beginners A1-A2) (in total 3 classes) on the University’s institution-wide language programme (Global Graduate Award in Languages)

The post holder will need to have native or near-native fluency in Korean. This position is a fixed-term from September 2022 to June 2023 but with the possibility the contract could be renewed in the next academic year.

Applicants should normally have teaching experience and/ or have a teaching qualification.
